Defy Parfum is the most concentrated, and sweetest of Calvin Klein’s three compositions. The master perfumer, Pascal Gaurin, who also worked on Defy Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum, created a completely separate fragrance, devoid of the crisp, cologne character of the toilet version and the leather, elegant flair of the perfumed version. Defy Parfum is a thick, suspended, aromatic composition that is perfect as a fragrance for special occasions, especially in the colder months.

Defy Parfum is a composition built on adversity - it creates the impression of both fresh and enveloping, sweet and dry, casual and sophisticated. It opens with spicy pink pepper, whose vibrant, sparkling accent encourages further exploration of the fragrance notes. Lavender introduces a characteristic, crisp, cologne accord to the composition, soothing the sharp freshness of pepper, and at the same time bringing out its herbal nuances. Cocoa resounds in an extremely sophisticated, dry way, with a minimal dose of sweetness, but at the same time warms the smell and gives it a rich, dessert character.
