The Kioxia Exceria Pro G2 is a high-speed M.2 2280 SSD designed for demanding consumer applications in desktops and laptops. It uses PCIe 5.0 x4 interface with NVMe protocol, offering sequential reads up to 14900 MB/s and sequential writes up to 13700 MB/s, which translates into significant acceleration of disk operations.

The 4 TB storage medium is based on BiCS FLASH TLC memory and meets the JEDEC standard. It also provides very high random performance — up to 2 300 000 IOPS at 4 KB read and up to 1 950 000 IOPS at 4 KB write. The design of the carrier takes into account the reliability parameters: MTBF 1 500 000 hours and TBW coefficient at the level of 2400.

The disk operates at a voltage of 3.3 V and can reach a maximum power consumption of 8.5 W. It is adapted to a wide range of operating and storage temperatures, and the compact dimensions M.2 2280 (22,1 x 80,2 x 2,63 mm) and weight of 7,3 g make it easy to install in typical spaces for M.2 modules.
