VET RESPONSE Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal is a complete, dietary wet food for adult cats requiring gastrointestinal support. It is designed for m.in. for cats with digestive disorders, intestinal absorption disorders and excretory pancreatic insufficiency.

The recipe is based on highly digestible ingredients, such as turkey and rice, and the reduced fat content helps reduce the strain on the digestive system. The food also provides electrolytes, vitamins and ingredients that support normal intestinal flora.

The formula was developed in cooperation with Pupil specialists of the Institute of Animal Nutrition.

Support for sensitive digestive tract

Digestive problems in cats can manifest themselves m.in. diarrhoea, vomiting, decreased appetite or worsening of condition. In such situations, it is particularly important to administer easily digestible food that provides the necessary nutrients without overloading the digestive system.

VET RESPONSE Gastrointestinal contains easily digestible turkey meat and rice, and properly selected fat content makes the diet adapted to the needs of cats with digestive disorders.

MOS and FOS – support of intestinal microflora

The addition of mannooligosaccharides (MOS) and fructoligosaccharides (FOS) supports the maintenance of normal microflora of the digestive tract. This is particularly important in cats with sensitive digestive systems and during periods of intestinal disorders.

Electrolytes and vitamins

The food contains sodium and potassium, i.e. electrolytes whose demand may increase in the case of diarrhea and vomiting. The recipe was also supplemented with B vitamins and vitamins D3 and E.

The addition of taurine helps to cover your cat's specific nutritional needs.

Salmon oil

Salmon oil is a source of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, which support m.in. proper condition of the skin and coat. At the same time, it has a positive effect on the palatability of food.

The composition of the feed was presented using detailed names of raw materials, not general categories. This lets you know exactly what ingredients are in your cat’s meal.

Recommendations for use

In the case of compensation of digestive disorders, the recommended duration of use is initially up to 12 weeks, and in the case of chronic pancreatic insufficiency, food can be used throughout life.

In order to limit intestinal absorption disorders, the recommended duration of use is up to 12 weeks.

Consultation with a veterinarian is recommended before starting the feed and before extending the period of its administration.
