Characteristics

Oil for heating devices ITERM 6 Mb is produced on the basis of a highly refined mineral oil base. It contains antioxidant additives, dispersing-washing and improving foaming resistance.

As a result, ITERM 6Mb shows:

• high resistance to thermal degradation and oxidation
• appropriate viscosity and thus easy start-up of the installation and high efficiency in maintaining oil circulation
• long service life without the formation of decomposition products and increase in product viscosity
• high heat transfer coefficient.

Application

ITERM 6 Mb oil is used as a heat carrier in:

• closed heating systems in the temperature range from - 10 to 280 ° C;
• industrial cooling and heating systems and installations (the product is used in systems with a capacity of up to tens of thousands of liters);
• heaters and oil systems for heating m.in. bituminous masses used in road construction;
• solid fuel furnaces where there are additional systems for heat reception.

It is recommended to maintain forced turbulent flow in heating systems and the temperature difference between the oil and the oil film surrounding the heating element should not be higher than 15-30°C.
