Yes. To ensure constant microbiological protection, the lamp should be turned on around the clock. Each shutdown and on drastically shortens the life of the filament.

No. The UV method is a purely physical process – it does not introduce any chemicals or chlorine into the water, thanks to which it retains its fully natural taste and smell.
