Professional bactericidal lamp for water disinfection
UV sterilizer TMA D8-S is a modern device designed for effective disinfection of water in domestic installations and small water systems. The bactericidal lamp eliminates up to 99,9% of bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms, ensuring the microbiological safety of water without the use of chemicals.
The device is perfect for applications such as:
- single-family houses (up to about 2 bathrooms),

The TMA D8-S model is an extension of the popular TMA D8 model. The most important difference is the use of external control cabinet, which significantly expands the possibilities of controlling the operation of the device.
The control system enables m.in.:
- monitoring the working time of the UV lamp,
- audible signalling of radiator failure,
- optical control of sterilizer operation.
Sterilization of water with UV-C radiation involves the destruction of microbial genetic material. Ultraviolet radiation damages the DNA of bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms, preventing their further multiplication.
This process:
- does not require the use of chemicals,
- does not change the taste or smell of water,
- does not introduce any additional substances into the water.
The TMA D8-S sterilizer disinfects water with an accuracy of up to 99,9%, ensuring a high level of microbiological safety.
The device uses the original Philips 42 W UV radiator, whose expected durability is about 16 000 hours of operation (about 2 years of continuous operation).
Due to the nature of the UV radiator, it is recommended not to turn off the device with short-term interruptions in water use, because frequent switching on and off shortens the life of the lamp.
