Filled with fine-grained ion exchange granules (cationite in sodium form) with a high ability to exchange calcium and magnesium ions.

The cartridge is designed in a way that allows maximum time of contact of water with the bed. Water flows through the cartridge axially (from bottom to top), remaining longer in contact with the filter bed.

This fact, combined with the high ion exchange capacity of the deposit, means that water after passing through the cartridge is deprived of virtually all calcium and magnesium ions.

This means that less detergents are used during washing, tea tastes better, and there is no unpleasant residue and stains on the cups and fittings.
