Water treatment is a device for softening water. Treatment is the process by which all calcium and magnesium compounds responsible for water hardness are removed from the water. During the flow of water through the column with the bed, calcium and magnesium ions are absorbed by resin molecules. When the ion exchange capacity of the resin bed is exhausted, a regeneration process should be induced, during which the deposit is regenerated with a solution of regenerative salt.
The water softener can be installed wherever the water temperature is lower than 45oC and the water input pressure does not exceed 2 bar. The optimum working pressure of water is 1-2 bar.
Only non-iodized salt should be used for regeneration. Treatment for drinking water only. The device is suitable for softening water for coffee machines, convection and steam ovens, dishwashers and ice cream makers.
