The test allows you to determine the degree of hardness of water in order to:

• assessment of the impact of water on the harmfulness of household appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, iron, coffee maker, etc. )
• commissioning of pressure coffee machines where water hardness is required
• control of the correct operation of your water softener

The hardness test is packed in sealed paper packaging with a special coating to protect against moisture.

One test contains one test bar and instructions for performing the test and interpreting the results.

Quick water hardness test - use

Unlike many strip tests available on the market , the water hardness test offered does not require the cumbersome assessment of color intensity in order to correctly interpret the result . The result is determined only by two colors and determines 5 water hardness ranges.

The water hardness test is very simple to perform, after which we get the test result within 1 minutes. The interpretation of the results consists in determining the number of square fields that have changed color from green to red.

Specially prepared instruction in Polish allows you to interpret the results in the most popular water hardness scales (m.in. German grades, French grades, mg CaCO3/dm3).

Water hardness test - tested water hardness ranges:

- 4 green fields - water with hardness below 3° dH - very soft water

- 1 red field / 3 green fields - water with hardness in the range of 4 - 8,4° dH - soft water

- 2 red fields / 2 green fields - water with hardness in the range of 8,4 -14° dH - water with medium hardness

- 3 red fields / 1 green field - water with hardness in the range of 14 -21° dH - hard water

- 4 red fields - water with hardness above 21° dH - very hard water
