This tester will be useful in everyday life when checking the purity of drinking water and in other applications (e.g. aquaristics or laboratory tests).

The device is very easy to use - just remove the cap, immerse the electrodes in the test water or. We can use the plug as a container for water testing. The built-in LCD display allows you to accurately and clearly measure the hardness of water (its contamination with inorganic compounds) and its temperature.

It does not require external power sources (electrical network), but only one CR2032 battery (which is included), which makes it extremely mobile and safe in contact with water.

The water hardness meter allows you to check the level of water pollution with inorganic substances. The meter is scaled in the values of "ppm" - parts per million, which is the most popular method of determining the amount of dissolved chemical compounds in water. The less polluted the water, the less electrical conductivity it will have.

Raw, unfiltered water can show a score of up to 200 PPM or higher.

The EC conductivity of water can be considered an indicator of salt content, waters containing few ions have low electrical conductivity, while e.g. Seawater has a very high conductivity. The commonly used unit of water conductivity is μS/cm (= micro-Siemens/cm). Fresh water or pond water should have a conductivity between 300 and 1200 μS/cm.

The tester is characterized by high accuracy of measurements.

The measurement result is read on a clear LCD display. You can immediately check whether the water is suitable for drinking and other applications.

Operation of the tester is fabulously simple - just immerse the electrode in water and the measurement result immediately appears on the reader.
