The Dafi polypropylene foam cartridge is designed for mechanical filtration. Removes sand, fine slurries, fats, corrosion products forming inside the sanitary system and other solid contaminants that may be in the pipes. This filter works well where there is an old water supply system and in places where there are interruptions in the supply of water. The three-dimensional structure of the filter allows to obtain very good filtration parameters without causing a large drop in water pressure in the water system. The assessment of filter consumption is carried out visually, if we notice that the polypropylene structure of the filter is fully soiled with water deposits, the filter should be replaced with a new one.

All DAFI filter cartridges can be used individually or in multi-element configurations depending on the desired effect. E.g. for hard and chlorinated water, a configuration is recommended, which includes a resin and carbon filter. It is recommended to use the polypropylene cartridge as the last step of each configuration.
