Four-stage water filtration in Flow Comfort Coffee & Tea filter

Flow Comfort filtration system is based on several-stage technology enclosed in one Coffee & Tea filter cartridge. Water flows through layers of filter nonwoven fabric, a high-quality ion exchange resin deposit and a carbon block, which allows it to be effectively cleaned.

Nonwoven fabric - performs pre-filtration functions by stopping mechanical impurities, including large solid particles, fine slurries, sand and impurities washed out of the surface of hydraulic installations;

Ion-exchange resin – reduces carbonate hardness of water and heavy metals;

Non-woven fabric - performs the functions of proper filtration, cleaning the residues of mechanical impurities;

Coconut shell carbon block – reduces chlorine content in water and its compounds. It improves the taste and aroma, as well as removes organic impurities. It performs the function of mechanical filtration.

ADJUSTMENT OF FILTER SETTINGS TO WATER HARDNESS

The filter is equipped with a head, thanks to which it is possible to adjust the level of carbonate hardness reduction.

Adjusting the level of carbonate hardness reduction consists in setting the position (turning) of the filter cartridge relative to the head according to the applied markings. The setting of the filtration level should be preceded by a test of the hardness of tap water. During the life of the filter, the filtration level can

be corrected.

Checking the hardness of the water is carried out using the test strip included in the kit. Information about hardness is also available from local water supply plants.

HOW DOES THE DAFI FLOW COMFORT WATER FILTER WORK?

The water filtration technology used is based on several stages of improving its quality, integrated in one filter cartridge. Water flows successively through layers of polypropylene nonwoven fabric, a high-quality ion exchange resin deposit and a carbon block. The filter equipped with a head allows you to adjust the level of carbonate hardness reduction.

Flow Comfort system is distinguished by quick installation, simple operation and compact design. It effectively optimizes tap water, reducing its hardness, reducing the content of chlorine and other harmful substances, while enriching it with potassium.

The Flow Comfort filter is adapted for installation under the kitchen sink, in various configurations, with water intake from a typical cold tap water intake. It can also be used in Dafi water dispensers.

Adjusting the level of carbonate hardness reduction consists in the appropriate setting of the filter cartridge relative to the head, in accordance with the applied markings. Before setting the filtration level, check the hardness of the tap water – using the test strip included in the kit or based on the information available at your local water supply.

The filtration level can also be adjusted during filter operation.
