SCU41 BYOD is an automatic 4k switch with four inputs: 1x wireless Miracast/Airplay, 2x HDMI, 1x USB Type-C and one HDMI output and 1 symmetrical stereo audio output. The device supports HDMI2.0b and 4K 60Hz, YCbCr4:4:4 color sampling, HDR10, Dolby Vision, color depth up to 12 bits and HDCP2.2. In addition, it has the ability to set EDID parameters using a 4-pin microswitch. It is also equipped with the function of deembedding the audio signal from HDMI.

The HDMI switch also features two USB 3 Type-B ports for connecting to your computer and two USB A ports for connecting local devices such as a mouse, keyboard, microphone, etc.

In AUTO mode, the switch itself detects the currently connected signal source and transmits to the output. The switch can be controlled using the buttons on the front panel or using CEC commands sent to the RS-232 port (list of RS-232 commands given in the user manual).

The device, when connected to the monitor, is ready to work with wired image sources. Displays on the screen the status and data necessary for further configuration of wireless modes, including the address of the web interface available when you connect your computer or smartphone to the access point that broadcasts and whose data it displays. Then the switch should be logged as a client to the WIFI network in which it is to work and in which it is to provide a screen mirroring service. After this configuration, access-point BYOD also makes the internet available to devices logged in to it.
