♥ Phone calls and voice messages - round-trip contact

The watch supports nanoSIM cards and operates on the 2G network, so that the child can call and receive calls directly from the wrist. He does not have to carry his phone, there is nowhere to lose it or forget it in the locker room.

In addition, voice chat is available — the child records a short voice message and sends it to the parent through the application, and the parent responds in the same way. This is ideal for younger children who cannot write yet.

Important for safety: it is the parent who decides in the application what numbers the watch can connect to. The child will not answer the call from an unknown number and will not call anywhere other than approved contacts.

⭐ Child Location - How It Really Works

The watch shows the approximate position of the child in the app. However, we want you to buy consciously, so we explain exactly how the location in this model works:

The Y100 determines its position based on the mobile network base stations (LBS) - that is, which operator's transmitter the watch is currently connected to. This is not the precision of individual meters as in car navigation.

▪ What this means in practice:

• In the city, where there are many transmitters, the accuracy is usually up to several dozen meters - enough to know that the child is at school, on the estate or on the playground
• Outside the city, where transmitters are less frequently spaced, the approximation is larger

This solution works well for general orientation, where the child is staying - not for tracking his route step by step. If you need precision of several meters, choose a model with a GPS module and 4G network (e.g. Hoco Y108).

The advantage of this solution is much less battery consumption - hence 2 to 3 days of work instead of one day, as in watches with active GPS.

🎯 SOS button and lesson mode - parent's peace of mind, child's focus

SOS button - in an emergency situation, the child holds down one button, and the watch immediately sends an alarm to the parent along with the last known location. No searching for a number, no unlocking the screen.

Lesson mode - a feature that every teacher appreciates. Parent sets school hours in the app, and during this time the watch automatically blocks all functions except the clock and SOS. The child does not get distracted in class, and you do not have to worry about the phone call from the educator.
