Product description and characteristics of ingredients:

The basic food for rodents and rabbits is a complementary feed, developed for the daily nutrition of herbivorous animals such as domestic rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, basket, mice, rats, gerbils and squirrels. The mixture consists exclusively of ingredients of plant origin.

Meadow hay and granulated alfalfa can support proper digestive function and digestive processes, providing the fiber needed for proper intestinal passage. Alfalfa also contains calcium and protein, which can have a beneficial effect on skeletal development and coat condition.

Cereals such as wheat, oats and corn are a source of easily digestible energy. Black sunflower seeds can support skin and coat health, thanks to the content of natural vegetable fats.

Dried vegetables and fruits – including carrots, apples, sweet potatoes, beets – are a source of natural simple sugars, vitamins and micronutrients. Their amount can have a positive effect on the palatability of food and support the diversity of the diet. Parsley stems can have a supportive effect on the urinary system.

Expanded and extruded wheat is better digested by animals and may reduce the risk of unprocessed grains in the digestive tract.

Recommendations for use:

The product should be used as a supplement to the basic diet of herbivores. The mixture should not be treated as the only source of food. The animal should have constant access to fresh drinking water and good quality hay, which is the basis of the diet of herbivorous animals.

Recommended daily portions of food:

• Miniature rabbit: 20 to 35 g/day
• Guinea pig: 15 to 25 g/day
• Hamster: 5 to 10 g/day
• Degu: 10 to 15 g/day
• Rat, mouse, gerbil: 5 to 15 g/day
• Squirrel: 10 to 20 g/day

The amount of food administered should be adjusted individually, taking into account the species, weight, age, health status and activity level of the animal. The mixture can be administered in one or two portions a day – preferably at fixed times.

Storage conditions:

The product is packed in thick plastic bags closed with a seal, which:

• protects the food against moisture and contamination,
• protects against loss of freshness,
• reduces contact with air, slowing down oxidation processes,
• enables safe storage and transport.

Shelf life:

Up to 6 months from the date of manufacture, subject to the recommended storage conditions.
