The P210TP 2x10GBASE-T PCIe card builds on the success of the widely deployed NetXtreme E-Series architecture, combining a high-bandwidth Ethernet controller with a unique set of highly optimized hardware acceleration engines to increase network performance and improve server efficiency.
Driven by the growing need for more server bandwidth and storage capacity to support new and emerging applications, enterprises, telecoms and cloud providers are modernizing their data centers by adopting the latest networking technologies such as server virtualization and NVMe-oF™. As a result of this increase in data volume, traffic between servers and CPU loads for network tasks increase.
With market-leading hardware acceleration technologies, the NetXtreme-E Series P210TP 2x10GBASE-T PCIe card addresses these performance and service requirements across mega-scale data center networks, delivering high throughput and advanced flow processing. Features like TruFlow™ increase VM density by up to 50 percent, freeing up more CPU cycles for additional VMs. Processing the tunneling protocol on a chip for Geneve, VXLAN and NVGRE provides up to 5 times the bandwidth increase while reducing CPU utilization by up to 90 percent compared to software-only solutions. NetXtreme-E series solutions also support advanced networking technologies such as RoCE, SDN and NFV to facilitate data network management and enable solutions for service providers.
