APT-3-11 is an unmanaged PoE network switch working as a LAN extender (repeater) and PoE power supply. Most often used as an "active splitter" in situations where we need to run several network devices on one UTP cable (e.g. several IP cameras) or when an additional network branch is needed.

It is designed to work with any network devices, IP cameras and other devices powered in the PoE 802.3at/af and PoE PASSIVE standard. The APT (Atte Power Tree) series devices ensure compatibility with IEEE 802.3 standards. at/af both as PoE power receivers as well as on all output ports. After connecting the device to port 2 or 3, the receiver is identified and if it is a PoE-powered device, the power supply in the port will be turned on.

The housing allows for installation in several ways:

• "traditionally" using mounting pins on the pitch 10.8 as is in all ABOX housings
• by screwing the screw through additional holes to any flat surface
• using mounting plate ADD-RACK2U1 or ADD-RACK2U2
• using additional latches on the TH35 rail (DIN) ADD-TH35

The APT (Atte Power Tree) product series allows you to connect system elements in a tree topology. APT devices can be powered directly from PoE. The power transmitted by a single UTP cable may be higher than that specified in IEEE 802.3 standards. at/af, so that a single power branch supports several IP cameras.

The device has a very small size, which allows for easy installation in small spaces.

The most convenient way of installation are dedicated housings of the ABOX series and mounting plates, equipped with system opening in a 10,8mm pitch. The system solution allows for vertical or horizontal installation of selected devices in any open part of the housing or mounting plate. With the use of an additional adapter, the device can be installed on the TH-35 rail.
