The S505-V5 allows you to connect several Ethernet-equipped devices to one local network. Five ports can handle, among other things, a computer, TV, console, network printer or other device compatible with 10/100 Mbps transmission. This is a solution for places where a wired connection is to be available for more than one equipment.

Each of the five ports operates at a speed of 10/100 Mbps. Parameters correspond to the Fast Ethernet class. The switch can be used in an installation where the most important thing is a stable, wired connection of basic devices, not gigabit transfer. The IEEE 802.3x standard is responsible for controlling the flow in a compatible network.
