This large rectangular tarp is dedicated primarily to those who like to have comfort and space for themselves at the end of the day and, of course, lovers of hammocking engaged in bushcraft and military activities.

CAMO (full name Woodland CAMO) or M81 for short is the most popular and probably the most versatile forest camouflage. Its effectiveness is best demonstrated by the fact that with minor modifications it has been used continuously since 1948 by more than 50 armies in the world!

THERMO – Tarp™ 4×3 / camo is made of extremely light, waterproof and, what is important, very durable material (Polyester) with ripstop weave. The top side is covered with a mosaic of masking colors – olive, brown and black.

Irregular shapes and a mix of colors cause tarp to merge with the forest environment looking at it even from a short distance.

The other side is coated with a thermal insulation layer, which increases thermal comfort, both in hot weather and when it is cold.

Silver cover perfectly reflects body heat while maintaining thermal comfort, e.g. during cold nights.

On hot days, it reflects the sun's rays, which significantly reduces the temperature under the tarp.

UPF 50+

What is extremely important, the thermal insulation layer protects against UV radiation!

Laboratory tests confirm the UV protection factor at the highest possible UPF 50+ level.

UVB – radiation responsible for skin cancer – protection 99,92%

Use

THERMO – Tarp™ 4×3 / camo thanks to its large surface area and convenient loop arrangement can be spread in many ways. First of all, the extension up to 4m allows you to conveniently close the tarp like a tent over a hammock, providing plenty of space and protecting even long hammocks and their slings.

An additional running meter of material is a much more comfortable shelter on the ground. For example, with the sheltered space “type A” 4x3m is a comfortable height of 1,7m (while with tarp 3×3 the height is only 1,1m).

THERMO -Tarp™ 4×3 allows you to build a comfortable shelter that is also a shield of the fire from the wind. Thanks to the thermal insulation layer, the heat of the campfire reflects and provides greater thermal comfort than using traditional materials.

On a daily basis, during family holidays, the tarpaulin can be used to create a airy patio above the entrance of the tent or serve as a cover for the off-road bathroom. The BUSHMEN® THERMO-Tarp™ tent on top protects against heating inside and gives you the opportunity to sleep longer in the morning on hot days.

THERMO-Tarp™ is of course an excellent protection when using a hammock (e.g. BUSHBED hammock).

Can be used e.g. as:

• Canopy protecting against precipitation and wind.
• Protection from the sun. The thermal insulation layer reflects the sun's rays, making it much cooler under the tarp.
• Lining / warmer – so-called. “underquilt” protecting, thanks to its unique thermal insulation against low temperatures.
• In the event that it is impossible to break the hammock, it successfully replaces the tent

Unique design

The unique design makes it not only a practical and lightweight camping shelter. Also, depending on the situation, it is a practical blanket, sleeping mattress or a complete bed or rescue stretcher. It can also be used as a heat reflector (e.g. when drying clothes) or signal sheet during rescue operations.

LOOPS

Specially designed loops are much easier to handle than classic ones.

The characteristic clearance between the loop tapes not only facilitates work in difficult conditions, but also allows the tape to fit better around the lashings.

The inconspicuous change of loop design also allows for a better / wider distribution of forces acting on the tarp material. Thanks to this, we were able to give up sewn reinforcements on the sides without losing strength. With loops located on the corners, as the most exposed to overload, we have additionally left traditional reinforcements, thanks to which our tarp are even stronger.

Transport bag

• The whole is hidden in a bag, equipped with handles and belt loops.
• The handles are located both along the bag and on its bottom.
• They make it easy to carry and remove from places such as bakista kayak or simply from between other luggage.
• Loops allow you to comfortably attach THERMO – Tarp™ 4×3 / camo to the backpack without fear that it will accidentally slip out during transport.
• By interweaving the string (ridgeline) through the hoses, the bag can be used as a convenient pocket for things we want to have on hand.
• When folded, the sheet takes up little space, the bag is only 30 x 15 x 15 cm – so it will fit on the flap of even a small backpack.
