EVIL LUBRICANTS RatchetSkin is an advanced, dry lubrication coating designed for maximum performance and uncompromising sound in DT SWISS Ratchet and ratchet systems. It creates an ultra-thin, resistant protective layer that minimizes friction and wear on friction elements — without silencing the hub’s signature click.

Unlike classic lubricants, RatchetSkin does not suppress the operation of the mechanism, and even extracts from it the full volume, often exceeding the factory one. It is an ideal solution for cyclists who want to get rid of greasy residues of factory lubricants and restore the aggressive, mechanical nature of operation.

How to use:

1. Thoroughly clean the ratchets and mechanism from the remains of old grease (e.g. with isopropyl alcohol).
2. Mix the coating very thoroughly by mixing and shaking.
3. Dip the ratchets into RatchetSkin (or apply the coating with a brush/aerograph).
4. Pull out and leave to dry for a minimum of 2 hours – preferably in a dry, warm place without contact with dust.
5. After drying, the coating is ready to work – without the need for additional lubrication.
