Welding with a non-melting electrode in an inert gas shield with the possibility of advanced DC welding

Thanks to the applied solutions, EasyTIG 206P DC enables advanced welding with the possibility of arcing:

• TIG HF - method of non-contact high frequency arc ignition using an ionizer. The glow occurs by approaching the electrode to the welded material and pressing the button on the handle.
• TIG LIFT - welding with a non-melting electrode (tungsten) in an inert gas shield (Argon) using additional handle. In the TIG DC Lift mode, the arc glow occurs when contact of the electrode with the welded element (the button in the handle does not arc, the gas is connected directly from the reducer to the handle). In TIG Lift DC mode, the current is constant.
• TIG PULS - pulsed welding.

The TIG DC and TIG DC PULS functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low alloy steels, copper and titanium. Welding is carried out in an inert gas shield.

✔ TIG WELDING WITH PULSE - thanks to the regulation of pulsed welding parameters, we have an impact on the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulse welding also reduces the amount of heat supplied to the material and is applicable when welding very thin materials.

✔ POST GAS - regulation of gas outflow time after welding arc extinction. This is a helpful feature to cover the welding lake. The lack of additional gas shielding may result in oxidation of the weld.

✔ ANTI STICK short-circuit - automatically turns off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the welded material, which facilitates its detachment and prevents the accidental formation of a welding arc.

✔ VRD - is a voltage reduction system whose task is to turn off the power supply within a few milliseconds after welding. This function is also responsible for reducing the voltage on the wrapped electrode to a safe level.
