SHERMAN ARC 200C is used for manual welding of structural steels with wrapped electrodes (MMA method). It also allows welding using the TIG method with arc ignition by rubbing (after using an additional handle). It is a second generation inverter device, manufactured from the most technologically advanced components made in technology IGBT. The SHERMAN is a welding machine made in inverter technology designed for MMA welding. The power of 200A allows electrode welding up to 4mm in diameter, steel and other weldable metals. The welder allows for smooth adjustment of parameters. For the best possible performance and reliability, the device is manufactured in accordance with the most requiring standards, which ensures its long-term trouble-free operation. It has a built-in protection system against overheating, overload and power instability.
IGBT - a solution that provides a minimum of electromagnetic interference with small power losses in basic systems, enabling increased efficiency and reliability of the power source.
TIG LIFT - Migomat MAGNUM has the possibility of touch welding TIG LIFT. Arch ignition is carried out by lightly rubbing the non-melting electrode against the welded material.
HOT START (hot start) - a function that makes it much easier to start welding. At the moment of arcing, the welding current is briefly increased. This leads to the heating of the material and electrode at the point of contact, as well as to the proper shape of the melt and the weld face (in the initial phase of the welding process).
VRD - a voltage reduction system whose task is to turn off the power supply within a few milliseconds after welding. This function is also responsible for reducing the voltage on the wrapped electrode to a safe level.
ARC FORCE “arch dynamics” – shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in welding current, which stabilizes the arc, regardless of its length.
