The THF 238 series devices from Magnum are professional inverter welding machines designed for manual, electric TIG and MMA welding, DC current and AC alternating current.

They are designed for all kinds of welding work in locksmith workshops, repair workshops, industrial, factories, automotive industry, services, etc.

They allow you to make connections, any weldable elements, e.g. made of aluminum, copper, stainless steel and many others.

The devices are equipped with a "soft" transparent panel that allows you to set all the necessary welding functions such as: start/fill current of the crater/welding/base, current rise and fall times, gas outflow before and after welding, pulsation frequency, balance and others.

The power source was built on IGBT transistors providing a minimum of electromagnetic interference, small power losses in basic circuits, enabling increased efficiency and reliability of the power source. Very high efficiency, which translates directly into lower energy consumption, and high switching frequency, ensure rapid adjustment of the current to changes in parameters during welding.

The TIG Point function is a variation of TIG (DC) spot welding. It does not set the welding time at the point only the time of the break between individual points. The welding time at the point is only one impulse (one short glow). For example, we set the welding current of 150 amps and the time of 2 seconds. Press and do not release the button on the TIG handle. There is one pulse of 150 A (lights up and goes out) and another pulse after 2 seconds and another every 2 seconds until the button on the TIG handle is released.

• Pulse intensity – adjustable in the full range of welding current for TIG DC.
• Interruption time – adjustable from 0 to 2 seconds every 0,1 [s] and from 2 to 10 seconds every 0,5 [s].
• Bi Level

The Bi Level function allows you to switch between two different welding current values without having to interrupt the welding process. This is a great convenience when making continuous welds on a material of variable thickness, or in general in cases where the welder needs to “jump” to a larger or smaller welding current, without extinguishing the arc and interrupting welding.

Using the Bi Level function, TIG DC and TIG AC can be welded. The PULSE function cannot be used.
