Do you want to reward your dog when he needs dietary food? MRT (hydrolyzed protein) can be administered with many conditions, without negatively affecting the effectiveness of the TROVET diet. The treat can also be given to healthy adult dogs.

Trovet MRT is a complete and balanced food adjusted by nutrient levels to prevent and alleviate metabolic changes caused by heart or liver failure and in case of intolerance and food allergy.

Trovet MRT is characterized by reduced levels of phosphorus, protein and sodium, which allows you to reduce hyperphosphataemia and nitrogenemia and allows you to control heart failure, hypertension and ascites. High-quality protein from rabbit meat ensures coverage of the minimum daily requirement for amino acids and maintaining proper kidney function. Elevated levels of B vitamins inhibit the development of the disease and contribute to the relief of disease symptoms. The addition of substances that increase urine pH counteracts metabolic acidosis and prevents the development of oxalate stones in the urinary tract.

Properly selected ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 fatty acids normalizes pressure in ball capillaries. The use of rabbit meat also allows the use of the delicacy in animals prone to food allergies.

Based on current analyses, the values of MRT and MLT diet determinations were reviewed. This has caused changes in the indications and thus both products are now more clearly targeted at specific diseases. This caused a division between kidney failure and struvite stones. We received one main indication for each product, which - in the case of MRT - is struvite stones.

TROVET Multi Purpose MRT can be administered throughout life. The previous designation of the Trovet MRT diet is RRT.
