Hikvision DS-2CD2087G2H-LIU horn camera is an 8-megapixel model from the ColorVu+Acusense series, POE power supply and the ability to record to a microSD card

The DS-2CD2087G2H-LIU belongs to the second generation of Acusense smart cameras used in intelligent monitoring systems. The device is part of an innovative series of network cameras by Hikvision, which enable smooth recording of images from places and objects covered by round-the-clock monitoring and provide intelligent analysis (intrusion detection,crossing the line, input/output from the area) based on classification of objects (vehicle,human) additionally supported by facial recognition function.

IP camera with efficient H.264+/H.265+ image compression algorithm for seamless and smoother image transfer at maximum resolution 3840 × 2160(8MPx). PoE power capability, according to the 802.3af standard, makes the device even more versatile and easier to install.

The Hikvision DS-2CD2087G2H-LIU camera can operate in three different night modes offering black and white image using IR diode, color when using visible light LED or in SMART mode, which automatically changes IR mode to LED when a human or vehicle is detected.

ColorVu technology uses extremely bright lenses (f=1.0) and highly sensitive optical sensors and artificial LED lighting to generate a color image of recordings even in the middle of the night. The technology is used wherever the details visible only in color count.

Filtering false positives and privacy masks

The camera uses Acusense technology that allows to distinguish objects appearing in the frame (human, car or small animal) and filter out false alarms. Small animals, leaf movement, rain or falling shadows do not raise an alarm about you only get important notifications on your phone.

With the privacy mask system, you can easily identify parts of the image to be excluded from video preview, giving you more control over your privacy and protecting your private sensitive areas (GDPR).

IP cameras with a memory card slot allow autonomous operation as a single-channel recorder, so it is possible to create a complete monitoring system based on only one device.

Extended D-WDR digital dynamic range – this technology allows you to receive clear images in high quality during adverse lighting conditions.

D-WDR 130dB technology gives greater functionality compared to BLC. Underexposed objects in the image are brightened, while objects that are too bright are dimmed. Thanks to this, all elements of the image are visible, even if there is significant contrast. The advantage of cameras equipped with WDR function is obtaining high-quality images regardless of whether they are used outdoors or in a building. The camera with WDR function can work in highly sunny places without affecting the quality of the recorded image.

BLC/HLC function for reverse light control

This technology allows you to eliminate the effect created when the camera is directed towards a strong light source, i.e. when the foreground becomes dark and unreadable. Compensation consists in brightening the foreground, unfortunately, also at the expense of the background, which also becomes brighter.

Smart codec Hikvision H.265+

Encoding the signal using the H.265 algorithm allows you to optimize the basic functions of the camera. The H.265 codec algorithm enables better use of network bandwidth, significantly reduces interference and guarantees long archiving time without compromising image quality.
