The Japan Premium slicker brush with Schima wood for medium to long-haired dogs is a tool for "decent" combing of the undercoat without tugging. The beveled mandrels go deep into the cover and pull loose hair out of the base of the coat, not just the top. The handle made of dense, moisture-resistant Schima wood fits securely in the hand and does not absorb moisture. Comes with a mini-comb: for cleaning the brush, paws and untangling tangles.

Many owners comb the dog regularly, and yet the coat still falls out handfuls — because the brush touches only the top layer. Here the key lies in geometry: the mandrels are specially angled, making it easier to break up the undercoat layer and collect the hair that normally stays “at the roots”. The effect?
