Mobility & Geriatrics dietary food has been specially formulated to support older dogs with joint problems (it can also be used preventatively). TROVET dietary food contains natural products. Active ingredients such as devil's claw and boswellia resin help prevent further cartilage degeneration and have anti-inflammatory effects. The combination of gelatin, glucosamine and chondroitin is a building block for joint cartilage. Added fatty acids from fish oil have proven anti-inflammatory effects and help reduce pain during movement. As a result, the use of painkillers can often be reduced and sometimes omitted altogether. Reduced energy content may help reduce excess weight. Additionally, the phosphorus and protein content in the food has been reduced to reduce the load on the kidneys.
