HEALTHY, HIGHLY ABSORBABLE AND DELICIOUS

In the recipe Tomojo traditional meat replaced by insects, which are a source of high-quality protein rich in amino acids and fatty acids Omega-3 and -6. Insects come from specialized, controlled breeding. The food does not contain cereals, gluten, wheat, corn, soy, eggs, fish, dairy products. The recipe contains a minimum amount of potential food allergens. It contains easily digestible and tasty ingredients (insects, pectins), as well as additives from the superfood category such as spirulina, chia seeds, flax seeds and beneficial herbs - oregano, thyme, sage, marjoram and parsley. Tomojo is a food that will also work in the elimination diet.

 

WHY INSECT PROTEIN FOR CATS?

• It is a high-quality protein rich in amino acids for proper growth and development,

• valuable fatty acids such as e.g. lauric acid, which is a lot in insects, stabilizes the microbiome of the digestive tract and strengthens the immune system,

• their breeding protects the environment

 

Protein derived from insects has unique health and ecological advantages! But not all insects are the same, only some are especially useful in dog nutrition. In our feed we use Hermetia illucens larvae (called black fly), which has exceptional nutritional values and high levels of protein content, additionally of high quality.

The quality of protein determines the level of amino acids necessary for the proper functioning of the body: the formation of antibodies, cell renewal, etc. Studies have shown that Hermetia illucens fly larvae contain raw proteins at 56%, and amino acid levels are higher than in chicken meat. The level of amino acids in insect proteins reaches 79% for cats, compared to chicken protein amino acids, which are at 56%.

ECOLOGICAL PRODUCTION

Breeding edible insects respects the environment much more than traditional animal husbandry. It consumes less valuable natural resources and needs less agricultural land than any conventional meat production. Our Hermetia Illucens larvae are fed with a balanced mixture from local sources, allowing you to manage waste from agricultural production. Insects simply feed on the remains of seasonal vegetables from nearby farms.

Comparing with beef farming, insect farming:

ECOLOGICAL PACKAGING

Our packaging is made from renewable and 100% biodegradable raw materials from Europe. Inside the package there is a layer of film produced on the basis of corn, also biodegradable. Thanks to this layer, the food is protected from oxidation and moisture.

Prints on the packaging were made with water-based paints, which are 100% environmentally friendly, hypoallergenic, odorless and non-toxic.
