KiS-KiS® Original really tasty food, based on highly digestible proteins, rich in beef and chicken, with fish protein (herring). It supports digestion, providing shiny coat and skin and very compact stools. Croquettes are slightly fatty (with the right type of fats and oils, of course! ), which has a beneficial effect on the coat and intestines. The structure of this food keeps teeth and gums clean and strengthens them. The special formula of vitamins and minerals provides all the nutrients that an adult cat needs.

Urine pH control (pH urine about 6,9, low levels of magnesium (Mg) and phosphorus (P)): Based on its composition, it can be concluded that KiS-KiS® cat food does not promote the development of struvite crystals in the bladder of cats. The predicted urine pH is 6,9, which is below neutral and is acidic rather than alkaline. It is known that the neutral pH of urine is not conducive to the formation of struvites. The protein, magnesium and available phosphorus content of KiS-KiS® is 84 mg/MJ, 0,58 g/MJ and 17,8 g/MJ, respectively. Thus, the level of protein, magnesium and phosphorus is not very high, and therefore will not lead to high concentrations of struvite components in the urine. However, it cannot be excluded that some cats susceptible to struvite formation will develop crystals in the urine when fed the PRO-VET® Struvite diet.

Hairball control: Low viscosity fibers stimulate intestinal motility and control the formation of hairballs.

EPA+DHA (multiunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids): Provide immune function and skin maintenance. They reduce inflammatory reactions that can occur during the development of atopic diseases and osteoarthritis. Omega-6 and -3 fatty acids are present in an ideal ratio of 5:1.

Digestive health, enriched with prebiotics (MOS+FOS): Supports the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. Maintaining an ideal weight: The ideal body weight extends life and reduces the risk of serious illnesses. Biotin plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism by interacting with the pancreatic hormone insulin. It stabilizes the sugar content in the blood and is involved in breaking down fatty acids and burning fat. Biotin is involved in the production of glucokinases – substances that activate glucose metabolism. Glucokinase is produced at the same site in the liver where biotin is stored. This is especially important for diabetics who have a low glucokinase content in the liver. Biotin also plays a significant role in glycogen synthesis, i.e. carbohydrates accumulated in the liver and muscles, as well as in the uptake of these reserves and in what is called gluconeogenesis, a process in which 16 of the 22 amino acids are converted into glucose. In this way, biotin stabilizes the sugar content in the blood.

Supports heart function: Taurine ( 2-aminoethane-sulfuric acid) is an organic acid that is made from methionine and cysteine and is essential for the proper functioning of the heart. Taurine plays an important role in the work of the heart muscle.

In addition, thanks to schidiger yucca extract, it improves the absorption of nutrients, which positively affects the intestinal flora.
