The 8P8C (8 Position 8 Contact) plug, also called RJ45, is an eight-pin connector used in telecommunications installations and computer networks. The plug has eight pins, which are connected to the contacts-knives driven by insulation into the wires of the earned wire during assembly. The offered plug thanks to its design (metal housing, double-row contact module) allows installation on twisted pair S/FTP, U/FTP, SF/UTP with conductors with a diameter in the range of AWG22-27. Thanks to the appropriate profiling of contact contacts, it is possible to place the plug on a twisted pair with wires such as wire or cord (solid/strand).

The plug is designed for mounting conductors according to the T568A, T568B or Industrial standard, i.e. all used - the included sticker with the description of connections makes it easy to arrange conductors according to the selected standard. Quick assembly is possible without specialized tools - clamping of the module is done manually by folding and latching the housing.

The plug allows mounting on a twisted pair with wire conductors or cable with a thickness (wire with insulation) of 0.8~1.6mm, so virtually every available on the market. The included cover has a conical end (bending) to fit a 6mm thick cable. The bend can be cut to fit a cable with a thickness in the range of 6~9mm.

The plug meets the requirements of Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet transmission (EA class, category 6A, band 500MHz).
