Tablets can be used for all coffee machines:

Degreasing tablets are essential for the smooth operation of the machine. Effectively remove coffee oil, fat and other types of impurities, accumulating on the filter or inside the brewing unit.

It is recommended to use Saeco degreasing tablets once a month or after preparing about 500 cups of coffee. This prevents the coffee machine from being clogged by leftover coffee and prolongs the life of the machine. Thanks to this, you will maintain the guarantee of cleanliness of the brewing unit of the machine and you will get the perfect taste and aroma of your favorite coffee.

Cleaning tablets are also used to clean the flask and other elements of the machine that require soaking. They also work well for the maintenance of overflow coffee machines!

Instructions for users of coffee machines with a container for ground coffee:

1. Turn on the device.
2. Fill the tank with fresh water to the “MAX” level and place the cup under the coffee tap.
3. Put one coffee oil removal tablet in the ground coffee chamber.
4. Select the function of pre-ground coffee.
5. Choose your coffee and start the brewing process. When the cup is half full, remove the device plug from the electrical outlet.
6. Allow the coffee oil remover to work for at least 15 minutes. Insert the power cord plug back into the electrical outlet and turn on the device. The device will automatically start to heat up and perform an automatic rinsing cycle.
7. Open the service flap and remove the brewing block.
8. Rinse the brewing block thoroughly under running water.
9. Insert the brewing block back into the appliance and place the cup under the coffee tap.
10. Again, select the pre-ground coffee function (do not add any ground coffee).
11. Choose your coffee and start the brewing process. The device will start to dispense small amounts of water. Repeat this action twice.

Instructions for users of coffee machines without a container for ground coffee:

1. Put the degreasing cartridge in a cup and fill the cup with hot water.
2. Wait for the cartridge to dissolve completely. Remove the brewing unit.
3. Then wash it with a degreasing solution. If necessary, use a small sponge or brush.
4. The degreasing solution should work for at least 15 minutes.
5. Rinse the brewing unit thoroughly under running water and insert it again.
6. To clean the drip tray, place the degreasing cartridge on the tray and fill it with hot water in two-thirds. The degreasing solution should work for at least 30 minutes. Then rinse the tray thoroughly.

NOTE: Degreasing cartridges do not remove scale from the machine. Only use a descaling agent for this purpose
