Zdrovit Litorsal 24 effervescent tablets

Litorsal Zdrovit contains minerals necessary to maintain water-electrolyte balance, such as sodium and potassium, and glucose supplemented with vitamin C.

Composition

acidity regulators: citric acid and sodium carbonates, glucose, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, bulking agent: sorbitols, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), aromas: peppermint (containing lactose derived from milk) and lemon, sweeteners: cyclamates, aspartame and acesulfame K, dye: riboflavins.

Properties

Sodium is the basic electrolyte that regulates the distribution of water in the body. Glucose is the primary source of energy for the heart and brain.

Litorsal uses the discovery of a common transport of glucose molecule and sodium ion through the cell membrane of the intestinal epithelium, which is the basis of the oral irrigation theory.

Litorsal Zdrovit quickly quenches thirst and replenishes fluid losses resulting from sweating on hot days or during physical exertion.

Purpose

For dietary management in:

• dehydration due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heat
• dehydration and loss of electrolytes due to alcohol abuse
• loss of water and electrolytes during training

Method of use

The product is intended for use under the supervision of a doctor, it is intended for adolescents and adults.

Dissolve 1 effervescent tablets in 200 ml of water. A maximum of 3 tablets per day is recommended.

Contraindications and precautions

The product cannot be used as the only source of food and cannot replace a proper diet.

It is not intended for parenteral use.

Contraindications: Use with caution in people with hypertension due to the presence of sodium in the product. It is not recommended for use in diabetics. Contains a source of phenylalanine.
