IDEAL EXPERT TIG 220 AC/DC HAS SEVERAL WELDING MODES I.A.
- The TIG DC and TIG DC PULS functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low alloy steels, copper and titanium.
- TIG AC and TIG AC PULS: allows welding of aluminium and its alloys and brass.
- TIG 2-LEVEL function: "2-level" current adjustment allows you to switch between higher and lower current levels by successive button presses in the welding torch.
- TIG POINT function: allows you to attach thin materials.
- MULTITACK function – intermittent welding, a function enabling the so-called “cold welding”; weld frequency adjustment in the range of 0.5÷6.0Hz
- TIG MIX function: this is a special welding method TIG, consisting in the combination of direct and alternating current, allows for full melting and effective cleaning during welding of aluminum.
EXPERT TIG 220 AC/DC PULSE W is a portable power source, made in IGBT technology, designed for TIG and TIG PULS welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), and MMA method with a direct current (DC) electrode. The small size and weight make the device perfect for both workshop work and during the work of terenowych.Dzięki regulation of TIG PULS pulsed welding parameters we have an impact on the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulse welding also reduces the amount of heat supplied to the material and is applicable when welding thin materials.
Arching occurs in non-contact (HF) or touch (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used during welding in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the environment.
OTHER ADVANTAGES OF THE DEVICE:
- 2T/4T - when the start button is pressed, the welding process is stopped after releasing the button - when the button is pressed and released for the first time, the welding process takes place at the second press, it is a more convenient solution for longer welds.
- IGBT - the welding machine uses modern transistors, a solution that provides a minimum of electromagnetic interference small power losses in basic systems, enabling increased efficiency and reliability of the power source.
- ARC FORCE - facilitates the transfer of a drop of molten electrode to the welded material, preventing the arc from extinguishing when the drop of electrode contacts the welding lake
- HOT START - facilitates the ignition of the electrode by providing more welding current with each arc.
- ANTI STICK: anti-short-circuit - automatically turns off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the welded material, which facilitates its detachment and prevents the accidental formation of a welding arc
- OVERLOAD SWITCH – a built-in device designed to cut off the power supply when for some reason there is an overvoltage. This protects against damage to the power supply network as well as the device itself.
- WELDING PROGRAMS - the device has 10 places of recording of user welding programs.
- COOLER - the device has a radiator which significantly increases its efficiency and protects against overheating of the handle.
- QUICK COUPLER - allows you to immediately connect and disconnect the welding torch without the use of tools.
EFFICIENT COOLING AND SAFE DESIGN
In addition to the source and handles necessary to work in the set, there are:
COOLER: Dedicated liquid cooler ensures efficient cooling of the welding torch, also when welding with large currents.
CHASSIS: The source and cooler are placed on a specialized dedicated transport trolley, which additionally has space for a cylinder with technical gas.
STABLE CONSTRUCTION: The set is mounted on a chassis (screw mounting), thanks to which we can safely transport our equipment in the workshop of the production hall, etc. The equipment can be easily removed from the chassis and transported separately each of the elements of the set.

STABLE OPERATION
Arching is carried out without contact using the built-in HF ionizer. In addition, the HF system improves welding stability and ensures rapid adjustment of current to changes in parameters during welding.
STRONG HANDLE WITH CONTROL
The device is equipped with a TIG SR 18 welding torch length 4m, with a high current capacity, thanks to which it will withstand work even in long cycles. The handle also has remote control in the handle, which definitely facilitates work and it is possible to change the current during welding.
