Application: For machining cable terminals with red, blue and yellow insulation, cable terminals, flat plugs, flat plug sleeves, round plugs, bushings, contact and parallel connectors.

For classic applications of clamping pliers, there is a risk that the cable ends in the pliers will twist or become badly clamped. Crimping pliers with oval clamp (o-crimp) from Wiha avoid unnecessary waste of cables and fittings.

The clamping range is from 0,5 to 6,0 mm², making the pliers suitable for most common jobs of this kind. Thanks to the colour-coded crimping areas, connectors with red insulation from 0,5 to 1,0 mm² can be crimped in the red area, connectors with blue insulation from 1,5 to 2,5 mm² – in the blue area, and connectors with yellow insulation from 4,0 to 6,0 mm² – in the yellow area.

High crimping quality is achieved with automatically adjustable crimping pressure and the option to manually cancel the crimping process using the emergency unlock function.
