PLANET IGS-6325-20T4C4X is an industrial Layer 3 managed switch that has 24 10/100/1000Mbps ports, 4 shared SFP ports and 4 10G SFP+ ports, and supports Layer 3 IP routing in a 1U chassis.

With 10Gbps uplink, the IGS-6325-20T4C4X can handle very large amounts of data in a secure topology that connects to an industrial backbone or high-capacity servers. The IGS-6325-20T4C4X is capable of providing a non-blocking switch structure and bandwidth of up to 128Gbps in the temperature range of -40 to 75 degrees C. It greatly simplifies the tasks of upgrading an industrial LAN to meet growing bandwidth needs. In addition, it adopts user-friendly "Front Access" design for easy wiring and maintenance of IGS-6325-20T4C4X when placed in the cabinet.

Support for Layer 3 routing

The IGS-6325-20T4C4X enables an administrator to conveniently increase network performance by manually configuring Layer 3 static routing IPv4/IPv6 VLAN and automatically configuring OSPFv2 (Open Shortest Path First) IPv4 settings. OSPF is an internal dynamic routing protocol for a standalone system based on the state of the link. The protocol creates a database by exchanging link states between Layer 3 switches and then uses the Shortest Path First algorithm to generate a route table based on that database.

IGS-6325-20T4C4X supports SNMP and can be managed by any management software based on the standard SNMP protocol. In order to reduce product learning time, the IGS-6325-20T4C4X offers Cisco commands via Telnet or the console port, so that the customer does not have to learn new commands from these switches. In addition, IGS-6325-20T4C4X offers remote secure management via support for SSHv2, TLSv1.2 and SNMP v3 connections that can encrypt packet contents during each session.

The protection mechanism also includes port-based 802.1X and MAC-based authentication, as well as user and device authentication. With private VLAN functionality, you can prevent communication between edge ports to ensure user privacy. IGS-6325-20T4C4X also provides DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard and Dynamic ARP Inspection features that prevent IP snooping attacks by rejecting ARP packets with an invalid MAC address. 10G Ethernet is a big leap in Ethernet evolution. Each of the 10G SFP+ slots in the IGS-6325-20T4C4X supports triple speed and 10GBASE-SR/LR, 2500BASE-X or 1000BASE-SX/LX. With a 4-port 10G Ethernet connection capability and an additional 4-port option for 1G Ethernet, an administrator can now choose the right SFP/SFP+ transceiver depending on the distance or transmission speed required for efficient network expansion. The IGS-6325-20T4C4X provides wide bandwidth and powerful processing capability.

Intelligent SFP diagnostic mechanism

IGS-6325-20T4C4X supports SFP-DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitor) function, which greatly facilitates the network administrator to monitor real-time SFP parameters such as optical output power, optical input power, temperature, laser radiation and transceiver supply voltage.
