Most cheap buoys are made of thin, heat-sealed film that cracks at the seams due to sun exposure and pressure buildup. Their short tethers force you to constantly fight a cover that bumps your feet, and leaky push-in valves can pop out with strong body pressure. There's no room for compromise in deep water.

↘️ Preparing the buoy to enter the water takes just a moment. See the simple step-by-step instructions below.⬇️

1️⃣ Pack the Chamber: Place dry items inside the bag (maximum load capacity of the dry chamber is 9 kg / 20 lbs).

2️⃣ Roll and Clip: Roll the top edge tightly at least 3-4 times and fasten the securing clips.

3️⃣ Inflate: Unscrew the top cap of the Boston valve. Inflate with your mouth (the built-in one-way valve automatically prevents air from escaping during breaths). Screw the top cap back on.

4️⃣ Attach LED: If training at dusk or night, attach a light marker directly to the carabiner.

5️⃣ Deflate: After exiting the water, completely unscrew the bottom cap of the Boston valve. The air will escape in seconds. Store the buoy in the mesh bag.

✳ Does the swimming buoy protect against drowning and does it replace the vest? The COLD BUSTERS PRO buoy is not a life-saving device and does not replace a professional life-jacket (kapoka). It serves as a safety and signaling measure for people who know how to swim. However, it provides powerful support (displacement approx. 140 N) in case of contraction or sudden fall from strength, allowing safe rest in deep water.

✳ Is the dry chamber of the buoy 100% waterproof and what can I hide in it? Yes, the 28L dry chamber protects the contents from splashes and short-term falling into the water thanks to the roll-top rolling system. You can easily fit shoes, keys, documents, phone or T-shirt there. Due to the laws of physics and pressure prevailing with deeper flooding, delicate electronics (e.g. smartphone, remote control for the car) we recommend to protect an additional waterproof string case before inserting into the buoy.

✳️ Why doesn't anyone else include a mesh bag in the set? Traditional, sealed covers or plastic bags trap moisture, leading to PVC coating sticking together, unpleasant odors, and mold. Our structural polyester mesh bag ensures constant air circulation. The buoy dries naturally during transport, significantly extending its lifespan.

✳️ Why does a 27.5-inch strap make such a big difference? Standard buoys have straps about 14 inches long. As a result, the buoy drifts just behind your thighs, and you hit it with your feet with every stroke. The 27.5-inch length is biomechanically chosen – it moves the buoy out of your leg's kicking zone, providing full freedom of movement without drag in the water.

✳️ Do high-frequency welds protect against cracking in the sun? Yes. Cheap buoys are heat-sealed. When left in the sun, the air inside the chambers heats up significantly and expands, tearing ordinary glue.
