The software only works on Android smartphones/tablets.

The license is valid for 24 months after activation.

Before buying the full version, try the free bimmer-tool lite version first.

Selected features of the Bimmer-Tool application:

• reading the regeneration status of the DPF filter and detailed information about the filter status
• forcing DPF regeneration
• DPF adaptation reset (required when replacing the filter)
• Exhaust pressure measurement
• injector correction reading
• reading current and expected values of the flowmeter, boost and fuel pressure
• logging parameters into a CSV file
• registration of a new battery (without changing battery parameters)
• reset of blocked light circuits due to short circuit
• Oil service reset or change oil change interval**

The application also works with BMW E60, E83**, E81, E87, F10, F30, F25 models and with M47N/M57N (DDE5) engines in E46/E39**.

Older cars with M47 DDE3, M57 DDE4 or M54 MS43 engines require a K+DCan cable.

**Restrictions:

- Reset service/rain sensor in cars until 2007 requires K+D-Can cable or UniCarScan UCSI-2000 adapter.

- In the X3 E83 model with M47/M57 engine, ELM adapters only support the engine. K+DCan cable is required to support the other modules

- X5 E53, E39, E46 may not work with Bluetooth adapter. USB K+DCan cable is recommended.
