EVIL Gear is a synthetic PAO (poly-alpha-olefin) lubricant from Evil Lubricants developed for the bicycle market and in particular for use in electric bikes transmissions.

Bicycles are equipped with different types of transmissions, but the most common type of transmission in a bicycle engine is a planetary transmission. When designing the transmission lubricant, both the occurrence of several types of transmissions and other lubrication nodes found in electric bicycles were taken into account in circulation. EVIL Gear grease is compatible with most plastics including nylon and polyamide. The lack of silicone in the composition makes the grease characterized by high purity but is also very tacky to the lubricated surface.

Plastic grease EVIL Gear was developed on the basis of synthetic hydrocarbon and lithium soap (base oil - polyalphaolefine, thickener - lithium soap). In addition, the composition includes fine particles of solid lubricants that significantly improve lubrication and make the lubricant characterized by a long service life. Such a selected composition of the lubricant caused that there is a very effective noise silencing, which is of great importance for planetary transmissions, especially.
