Audio-Technica AT-LP3XBT compared to its predecessor, the AT-LP3, the new design offers Bluetooth connectivity and aptX codec support. It is therefore a response to the needs of music lovers who are looking for an easy-to-use turntable, characterized by high-end sound, elegant design and functionality.
The designers equipped the turntable with a VM Stereo Dual Magnet cartridge – model AT-VM95C with an aluminum bracket and a conical-cut needle. Thus, the device can read even the smallest details in the recording, and high rigidity minimizes losses in the played signal. Headshell AT-HS3 and built-in phono preamplifier allow you to use MM and MC cartridges. The headschell is attached to a straight arm cooperating with a hydraulically damped lifting mechanism and lock.
The AT-LP3XBT supports two rotational speeds – 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. /min. The equipment includes an adapter that allows you to adapt the turntable to play discs at a speed of 45 RPM. Based on a properly damped base, the design reduces unwanted vibrations that negatively affect the sound quality. A positive effect on the sound is additionally had by an anti-resonance plate made of cast aluminum, on which there is a solid felt mat. It is responsible for stabilizing playback and reducing the formation of vibrations.
