Sodium percarbonate - properties and application

Sodium percarbonate, also known as Na2CO2*1,5H2O2 with active oxygen, is a substance with strong oxidizing properties that activate in contact with water to form hydrogen peroxide, oxygen and sodium carbonate, which contributes to whitening and disinfection. This process is used by manufacturers of laundry detergents, cleaners and dishwasher tablets, making sodium percarbonate a key ingredient in these products. Although this substance is safe for humans, it requires basic precautions, as it can irritate the respiratory, digestive and eye systems, but at the same time it is environmentally friendly, easily dissolves in water and does not accumulate in living organisms.

Thanks to its reactivity with water, sodium percarbonate supplied by us is characterized by exceptional efficiency in cleaning, whitening and disinfection, which makes it valued by detergent manufacturers. In the wash, simply add two tablespoons of percarbonate to white and light fabrics to prevent them from yellowing or graying, as well as remove tough stains, for example from tea or wine. For better results, it is recommended to wash at a minimum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius or soak the fabric in a solution of sodium percarbonate before washing.

For stain removal, sodium percarbonate proves to be an effective solution, allowing you to clean a variety of surfaces, including carpets or curtains, with a simple solution. In toilet cleaning, it works as efficiently as standard cleaning products, offering a safer alternative. Simply pour in 10 tablespoons of percarbonate, wait 15 minutes, then scrub and rinse with water for disinfection and freshness, eliminating unwanted odors.
