VERTIX 2S is an improved version of one of the most technologically advanced and battery-powered off-road watches in the world. It will be especially appreciated by extreme travelers, commandos, mountain climbers and ultra runners. It will work wherever an ultra-strong battery is required, where the most adverse weather conditions prevail and where the accuracy of measurements and precise location on the map are crucial – regardless of where you are.

The world's first watch equipped with a dual frequency satellite navigation system

VERTIX 2S is equipped with a dual frequency GPS system, enabling precise location determination even in the most difficult environments, such as selected mountains, gorges, forests or selected urban areas. The new module used in VERTIX 2S will provide you with much higher navigation accuracy in adverse conditions where the signal from satellites is limited or where interference occurs due to tall buildings or other large physical structures.

VERTIX 2S can communicate with all five major satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and Beidou) simultaneously using two main frequency bands (L1 + L5*). By turning on “all systems + dual frequency” mode, you’ll notice a huge improvement in location determination – even in the most adverse terrain conditions!

*L5 (1176 MHz) was broadcast in the radio band reserved exclusively for aviation security services. It is characterized by higher power, higher bandwidth and transmission speed. COROS VERTIX 2S is the world's first GPS watch to use the L5 band.

Offline world map

VERTIX 2S is the only watch that offers an offline world map available in Landscape, Topo and Hybrid modes. The product comes pre-loaded with a full global landscape map. You can download topographic maps of individual regions free of charge from the coros website. com.

The designers took care not only of functionality, but also of the convenience of using navigation. You can zoom in or out on the latest VERTIX map with a digital dial or with a highly responsive touchscreen.

The largest screen in the COROS offer

The all-new 1,4’’ touchscreen with 280 x 280 px (Always-On Memory LCD; 64 colors) resolution will give you a much better viewing experience. From now on, you can view even more data on the screen, as well as maps and routes in full color. In training mode, VERTIX 2 supports up to eight data fields on one page!

VERTIX 2S works almost twice as long as the battery used in the first installment of the model - already then considered the watch with the strongest battery on the market! Battery life version 2.0 is as follows:

The next-generation processor used in the VERTIX 2S will give you a 20% performance boost compared to the original version. What’s more, VERTIX 2S is equipped with a huge 32 GB internal memory for saving music, maps, routes, training data and future software updates.

New user interface (UI)

The new user interface allows you to fully exploit the potential of the digital knob. All the key information is available in the widgets - just turn the knob. The improved touch screen will allow you to perform certain activities with your finger and touch screen, allowing for precise control while navigating, as well as easy access to music fields and training data.

Electrocardiography

Electrocardiography (ECG) is the most accurate way to monitor heart rate, as well as a reliable way to measure sinus rhythm variability (HRV). With VERTIX 2S, you can perform an ECG and measure HRV and stress levels (both during training and in everyday life), which will help you increase your performance and optimize your training and recovery plan.

Wi-Fi connectivity

The built-in Wi-Fi module will allow you to quickly and easily download new software updates from COROS servers - directly from the watch.

Insta360™ camera control

Pairing the Insta360™ (Insta360 Go 2, One X2 and One R) with your watch will allow you to control it from your wrist. This creates huge opportunities; you can e.g. Place the camera on a tripod and create more creative shots.

Music

This model has a water resistance class of 10 ATM, which - in laboratory conditions - corresponds to the static pressure of water prevailing at a depth of up to 100 meters. Although in real conditions, where there is a different dynamics of water pressure, you will not dive into it to such a depth, the VERTIX 2S will calmly work as a watch in which you can swim both in the pool, in lakes and in open waters. And you can calmly, without risking losing functionality, you can dive with it to a depth of several meters.
