The history of the Seiko brand dates back to 1881, when a young entrepreneur Kintaro Hattori opened a watch sales and repair shop in the center of Tokyo. A few years later Hattori opened Seikosha factory. Manufaktura specialized in the production of wall clocks, but the founder wanted to expand the scope of his activity. In 1895, the first pocket model was created and several years later a wristwatch was created. Unfortunately, during the earthquake that hit Japan at the time, Seikosha’s factory and the company’s headquarters burned down. Hattori had to start over and rebuild the manufactory, already under the current name Seiko. The brand has revolutionized the watchmaking market by introducing more and more modern and innovative models. Today, it offers us a wide range of various timepieces distinguished by high quality and precision.
