Dedra DEPM010 Microprocessor rectifier 2A/4A LCD, /12V 4-120Ah

The DEP010 rectifier is an electrical device that allows charging lead-acid (wet), gel, AGM batteries with a voltage of 6/12V and an intensity of 4-120Ah, which are used in motorcycles, passenger cars, etc.

Thanks to the microprocessor, the rectifier will carry out battery charging cycles itself, adjusting the operating stages to the condition of the battery. Charging the battery is done in eight steps.

The rectifier cable set is equipped with wheels for use in batteries where access is difficult. Thanks to the quick connector, reconnecting the rectifier is very simple and does not require re-access to the battery poles.

The device is adapted to charge batteries with 6V and 12V current.

Stages of charging

Charging the battery takes place in eight steps:

• Diagnostics – checking the correctness of the connection with the battery and the degree of battery charge
• Stimulation – checking whether the battery is not damaged and whether it can accept charging current.
• Desulfurization – pulsed charging, which allows the removal of lead sulfate from the battery plates, thanks to which its initial capacity is restored.
• Primary charging – constant current maximum charging until 100% of the battery capacity is reached
• Absorbing – Charging with decreasing current to maintain a constant battery voltage
• Battery analysis – voltage drop analysis
• Final charging – the rectifier charges the battery at a constant current to the maximum voltage values
