MC-1500 from Planet is a universal solution that allows you to bring order and optimally manage the space in the nineteen-inch cabinet for network devices. The MC-1500 housing offers 15 slots for Planet ET, FT and GT series media converters. Gathering all converters in one housing allows you to eliminate individual power supplies required by each converter, and thus reduce the number of cables and sockets of the power supply network. The common housing also makes it easy to organize Ethernet and fiber cables.

The MC-1500 can accommodate up to 15 Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet converters in a single chassis. Built-in 2 fans ensure the right conditions of the converter trowel, and LEDs inform about the correct operation of each separately.

Each converter slot has an independent power circuit, so you can freely install or replace converters without interrupting the operation of the others. In addition, each slot can accommodate any Planet ET, FT or GT converter that performs, for example, conversion from a wired network to fiber optic, from multi-mode fiber to single-mode and many, many others.
