Medium link chains are dedicated to dogs with ordinary hair cover (e.g. Rottweiler, German Shorthair Shepherd, Belgian Shepherd Malinois) but also to dogs with longer and / or denser hair cover (for dogs with very long and / or very thick hair, a chain of long links is indicated).

It will work for strong, medium dogs.

The total length of the chain is 40cm, the length of the wreath without round end links 36cm.

How to choose a chain for your dog?

Correctly selected chain, after putting it on should stay in the place where the neck ends and the head begins. It should not slide to the place where the body ends and the neck begins. • Measure the circumference of the dog's head because the braided chain at the time of putting it on must pass through the head. Measurement should be made without squeezing but also without leaving unnecessary slack. If there is a lot of loose skin on the dog's head (a property of some breeds), it should be sensitively removed with a measuring instrument to avoid incorrect measurement.
• To the read measurement should be added about: 1-2cm for small breed dogs, 2-3cm for medium breeds, 2-4cm for large breeds. The sum of the read measurement plus the allowance gives the total length of the chain that is needed.
• Such a selected chain during putting on will enter through the head with gentle resistance and stay in the position of the upper part of the neck.
• If more important than the functional option is the aesthetic option, add a higher value of the allowance to the read measurement or at the time of measurement take the appropriate clearance referring to the circumference of the dog's head. Such a selected chain will be loose and after putting it on set in the place where the dog's body ends and the neck begins.
