Dual Band Wi-Fi 5 AC1200
The Keenetic Skipper 2nd Gen supports AC1200 class 5 dual-band Wi-Fi. In the 2,4 GHz band, the maximum speed is up to 300 Mbps, while in the 5 GHz band up to 867 Mbps. MU-MIMO, Beamforming and Airtime Fairness technologies support efficient communication with many devices and efficient use of the available wireless network.
Mesh Wi-Fi and backup connection
Support for Keenetic Mesh Wi-Fi allows you to connect compatible Keenetic devices into one consistent wireless network. The Multi-WAN feature allows you to use several Internet sources and configure a backup connection, so your router can switch traffic to an alternative link in case of problems with basic network access.
Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0
The router is equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet ports with up to 1 Gbps bandwidth and a USB 2.0 port. Compatible storage, printers, 5G/4G/3G cellular modems and other supported accessories can be connected to the USB port. This allows you to expand the capabilities of your home or office network.
Private cloud and network protection
When the USB Keenetic memory stick is connected, Skipper can act as a file server, media server and private cloud. The router also offers parental controls, content filtering, ad blocking, and network segmentation capabilities to better manage access for users and connected devices.
Efficient service and VPN
Keenetic Skipper 2nd Gen uses a dual-core EN7528DU processor with a clock speed of 900 MHz, 256 MB DDR3 RAM and 128 MB Flash memory. The router supports VPN connections, including WireGuard and OpenVPN, and setting management is possible through a mobile app or web interface.
