PLANET UPOE-400 4-Port Multi-Gigabit 802.3bt PoE++ Injector Hub has four 10/100/1G/2.5G/5GBASE-T 90-watt 802.3bt type-4 PoE++ injector ports. With a total PoE budget of 160 watts, it provides 802.3bt PoE++ power over Ethernet UTP cables that allow simultaneous data and power transmission to a remote device powered by 802.3bt/at (PD).

UPOE-400 provides a fast, secure and cost-effective 802.3bt PoE++ networking solution for small businesses and enterprises. It is designed to perfectly upgrade your existing network infrastructure to a 802.3bt PoE++ network system without having to replace your existing Ethernet switches, and also allows you to centralize your power supply.

802.3bt PoE++ meets high power demand of powered devices

Because UPOE-400 adopts IEEE 802 standard. bt PoE++ and PoH technology, is capable of delivering up to 90 watts of power, using all four pairs of Cat5e/6 standard Ethernet cabling to deliver power and data at full speed to any PoE-compatible remote PD device. It has triple power compared to the conventional 802.3at PoE+. It is ideal to meet the growing demand for higher power consumption network PD devices, such as:

Quick and easy deployment of 802.3bt/at PoE network

UPOE-400 is installed between a regular Ethernet switch and PD devices. The four ports are network ports (Ethernet) for data entry, while the other four ports are PoE++ ports for data transfer and power. Both power and data are transmitted simultaneously via UTP cables to different PD 802.3bt/at devices without affecting the performance and features of the existing network. By transmitting data and power over Ethernet from a single device, UPOE-400 can reduce the number of power cables and eliminate the need for dedicated electrical outlets on the wall, ceiling or anywhere inaccessible.

Intelligent LED indicator for power input and real-time PoE usage

UPOE-400 helps users to easily and efficiently monitor the current status of power input and PoE power utilization using an advanced LED indicator. The "power LED" allows the user to know the status of the DC power input. The "PoE Usage" indicator displayed on the front panel of UPOE-400 has three amber LED indicators with different energy consumption, indicating 50W, 100W and 160W. Through the power utilization LED indicator, UPOE-400 enables the administrator to monitor the power utilization status of connected PD devices in real time.

High power budget for PoE expansion

With 90-watt PoE output power, the UPOE-400 can extend the range over much longer distances with the PLANET PoE Extender to power PD PoE devices that can be installed over a distance of more than 100 meters.
