The Wartmann® dehydrator has a fan with a diameter of 15 cm generating a horizontal stream of dry air. The power of the 400 W heater is effectively used because it is washed by air so that all energy is directed exclusively to the evaporation of water. Due to the fact that not the temperature but dry air does all the work of drying food, the cost of energy is very small.
