Melodika BLI6 - installation speaker

The Back in Black Invisible series are high-end installation speakers built on the basis of components known from the series of award-winning sales bestsellers from the Back in Black series. Despite the very moderate price, the installation speakers are equipped with drivers using technologies and components from the BL40 MK3 model.

The speaker is ideal for installation in a suspended ceiling made of plasterboard, wall, or furniture. This solution allows you to hide the speakers, leaving more free space in the room.

The new Melodika series is characterized by several important features:

• crossover adjustment - high tone intensity switch allowing you to choose two positions: 0dB or -2dB, depending on the acoustic characteristics of the room

• medium-low-tone membrane - made of densely braided fiberglass with reduced gradation with increased efficiency,

• tweeter dome - silk with built-in disperser suspended above the center of the midrange membrane for a more point sound source (except for LCR and W models)

• external housing mounting ring - independent of the steel, machine-pressed speaker basket, mounting ring with locking paws; this allows you to effectively reduce resonances transferred from the speaker to the wall and from the wall to the speaker

• grille - acoustically transparent prepared for painting, magnetically fixed at 6 points with padding, for full stability and elimination of noises during loud playing. Possibility to buy a square grille as well.

Functionality

As part of the process of designing and checking cable specifications, Melodika cooperates with the research laboratory of the Białystok University of Technology. However, the production is commissioned to one of the Polish factories, which also produces m.in. cables for drilling platforms, for the army (e.g. for the Rosomak transporter needed) and cable harnesses for hybrid cars.
