🔥 Preparation before first use

For the best performance, seasoning is recommended.

1. Wash the plate with warm water without detergents.
2. Dry thoroughly.
3. Cover with a thin layer of vegetable oil or lard.
4. Preheat the plate over a campfire or in the oven at about 200 to 250°C for 20 to 30 minutes.
5. Leave to cool.

The process can be repeated 2 to 3 times for an even better protective layer.
